On weekdays, you're best off heading for the bars like Fame Station, 11th floor, Lipo Building, Jl Gatot Subroto (11am-2am; Rp15,000), which draws a young crowd and often features live music. Expats tend to gravitate towards Laga Pub, Jl Junjungan 164, which has live music, cheapish beer (Rp9000) and a Rp5000 cover charge, or the seedier Duta Pub at Jl Dalem Kaum 85.
